Parenting Education and Support
Caring for a child is a big responsibility, but it can also be one of life’s most rewarding experiences. The thought of being a parent can be overwhelming at any time, especially if the news of your pregnancy is unexpected.
We have over 300 lessons to choose from over a variety of topics, such as pregnancy, infants, toddlers, parenting, healthy relationships and life skills. These lessons empower families by teaching critical skills for real-life application. The lessons are fun, interesting, practical and will help you learn how to be the best parent you can.
You will meet with a client advocate individually to create a lesson plan unique to your needs with opportunity to discuss what you are learning.
Other Supports
Material Supports
We provide resources to our clients such as gently used baby clothing and supplies such as diapers, wipes and formula. Items are donated from kind individuals in our community, and availability depends on the items we have on hand.
Community Resources
There are many local resources and supports available. We may be able to help you find needed medical care, social services, pre- and post-natal care, adoption agencies, housing options, and much more.
Client Events
Each month we plan an activity for our clients. These can range from special Christmas events to craft afternoons and casual gatherings at a playground.

“PPSC has helped me so much by providing the most practical of needs like diapers and wipes. They have always been a call or text away to encourage and support me in any way needed.”
