We are so blessed to be the messengers of your love and kindness. It is quite a privilege to be able to communicate to clients that, not only do we care about those who walk in our doors, but there are many in our community who love them and have given these items for them, even though they have never even met our clients!
Layette bundle for each newborn
Providing for a baby can be overwhelming, especially an unexpected pregnancy. We love to provide new moms with a special gift for their newborn in the form of a “baby bundle” containing a variety of new baby items and clothes.
“Just Because” love bags/items for our clients
We also want our clients to know they are very loved. Some of them come to us quite broken and without supports. We want them to know they are valued and that we care. All of our new options clients receive a small gift bag with items such as a journal, lotions, socks, and chocolates. Sometimes our regular clients are just having a really rough time, and it’s nice to be able to hand them a small gift card for a coffee to brighten a difficult day.
New and used items for babies and moms
We have a clothing/supply closet which those in need can access. We accept donations of new and “like new” maternity clothes, baby items, and baby/toddler clothing up to age 2 years old. Diapers, wipes and formula are almost always in need.
Creative Ways You Can Give Resources

Gather together friends, family, small group or church and throw a baby shower for layette items. We'd love to join you and share about the work here. Get in touch with us if this is something you would be interested in.

In lieu of birthday gifts ask for financial donations, layette or “just because” items.

Use the points from your air miles/credit cards or memberships to purchase items or gift cards.

Diapers and formula can be very expensive items for a mom trying to make ends meet - many come to us with these basic needs. Amazon will allow you to set up a regular subscription, so that once a month the item/s of your choice will automatically be delivered to the centre.

Go on a special shopping trip with friends or family members to buy sweet little baby things.

For those who have experienced great loss, consider donating a special package in honor of your loved one. “Just because” to honor your mom on Mother’s Day or her birthday, or a layette to acknowledge the loss of a child. We would love if you would include a special note to share with the woman who receives your heartfelt gift.
