Why We Care
We have been there – many of our board, staff and volunteers have personal experiences that resonate with the ministry.
We are a faith-based organization. We believe every person has value and is worthy of love, care and compassion. Our love for those in our community flows out from the love that Jesus has shown and modeled to us.
We desire that a woman facing an unexpected pregnancy would have all the information about her options and a safe place to explore her thoughts and feelings. No one should feel alone or pressured by other people or circumstances.
We know how difficult parenting can be and the need for resources, community, support and education.
We know that many women and men are hurting from a perinatal infant loss (miscarriage, still birth, abortion, etc.) and need a safe place to grieve and heal.
We see the brokenness in many relationships and desire to give men and women tools to help them thrive.
Every person who serves and gives to this ministry has invested and sacrificed because of love – love for the women, men and children in our community in need of support.

Volunteers
It’s not just the visible faces. There are so many more behind-the-scenes who graciously give of their time to meet with clients, organize the clothing closet, cook and bake for various events and client gifts, help with reception and administration duties, battle in prayer, provide maintenance, clean the centre, help with renovations, etc. This ministry would not be what it is without their faithful and compassionate service!
